How it works

Built the way you'd do it yourself, if you had the time.

Three steps run on a schedule, keeping the list current all season.

  • 1

    We watch the programs

Every college program we cover, checked on a schedule — their athletics site, their social media accounts, their own announcements.

  • 2

    We verify what we find

A camp only makes the list if it is a college ID camp, at the school it claims, on a date that has not already passed. Youth and day camps are filtered out.

  • 3

Members see it in one list

Every date, filterable by division, conference, state and date range. Follow programs you care about and get an alert when a new camp is posted.

Alerts

Stop searching. The camps find you.

Programs post a camp when they post it — a Tuesday afternoon, no warning, buried on their own site. We check on a schedule, and when a new camp from a school you follow shows up, you get an alert — instead of checking a dozen sites every week hoping to catch it.

  • Follow your schoolsEvery upcoming camp, searchable in your feed. Follow the schools you care about.
  • New camps land every weekYou’ll know about them all.
  • Custom alert filtersBuild your custom alerts — division, conference, state, university type, and more. Get alerts straight to your phone when your custom alert schools post their camps.

On your phone

The list lives in the app.

The site tells you how much is out there. The app is where you see it.

  • Every date

All upcoming camps with their dates, divisions, conferences and the program's own registration link.

  • Push alerts

A camp gets announced on a Tuesday afternoon, buried on one athletics site. Your phone tells you, instead of you finding out weeks later.

  • Your shortlist

Saved camps and the ones you are going to, on the sideline, at the tournament, in the car.

Questions parents ask

ID camps, briefly.

  • What is a college ID camp?

An ID camp — identification camp — is a camp run by a college program so its coaching staff can watch prospective recruits play in person. Most are one or two days on the school’s campus, and most are for high-school athletes.

  • How do you find them?

There is no central calendar. Each school announces its own camps on its athletics site, its social media accounts, and its own announcements. ID Camp Finder reads those sources across 1,275 college programs and puts every camp in one list in the app, with alerts when a program you follow posts a new one.

  • Is the app free?

The download is free and limited browsing of the camp feed is free. A membership unlocks filters, push alerts, and saving camps to your own shortlist.

  • Which sports?

Men’s college soccer, women’s college soccer, college softball, and college baseball, with more sports planned.

  • What ages are ID camps for?

Almost all ID camps are for high-school athletes or college transfers, roughly ages 14 to 22. Youth and day camps are filtered out of our list.
